Ahhh!! I am so jealous! Love Hannyatou and Kamonegi. Eating out in Seattle has been out of my budget these days but I’ve been meaning to harvest some oysters in the area.

Nicely done. I was immediately caught up in the transition from summer oysters to winter oysters and the wonderment that surrounds this new setting for munching.

Loved this post--what a fabulous experience that looks to have been. I'm bundling up tomorrow to go get our fill of oysters at Hama Hama's "Oyster Saloon" on Hood Canal. The winter oyster, in all its glory. We're so lucky to have such great opportunities for that nearby.
